1/25/2016 - News This Way Comes
Here's your weekly gaming news update. In which all the big news hit on the same day and an Indie Dev revealed a, let's say odd, sense of humor.

In an industry notorious for long crunch hours and often poor working conditions it’s nice to see a company offering more time off to their employees instead of less.
January 21 - Bungie Studios announced a Valentine’s day themed event for Destiny. The event will consist of a 2v2 mode for Crucible, called Crimson Doubles, and a new “ritual” in the Tower titled Crimson Days. In addition to the new February 8 event, Bungie announced the return of the Iron Banner competitive multiplayer mode January 26 through February 2. Full details on the events can be found in the Bungie blog.
January 21 - Nintendo announced new Amibos and in-game functionality to go with them. Most notably the HD re-release of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will come with a Link Amibo which will unlock a new optional dungeon in game. For full details on all the new Amibos check out the Nintendo blog.
January 21 - And finally Indie game developer Jonathan Blow, best known for the puzzle platformer Braid, Tweeted a photo of what appeared to be a bottle of his own piss. Blow is currently in the final stages of developing his latest puzzle game The Witness and Tweeted the photo as a joke about the aforementioned long hours of game Dev crunch. If anything this means we can expect The Witness to be released on time.
That about does it for this week’s news. Weird news week this week.
