Here’s your latest update on gaming news. I understand there’s some kind of sporting competition today?

February 2 - TT Games announced LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens by way of a new teaser trailer. At first glance the game appears to be more of the same fun we’ve come to expect from LEGO games, showcasing the new characters from The Force Awakens.

February 4 - Bethesda announced the release date for their new Doom game to be May 13 on all platforms.  In addition to the official date the company announced a new collector's edition, visit the Bethesda blog for details. Alongside the announcements a new trailer for Doom was released on YouTube.

February 5 - In an interview for Forbes, Jesse Stern, Lead Writer on TitanFall 2, revealed that the game will include a single player campaign along with a few other details about the upcoming sequel. Highlights from the interview include hints at a multi-platform release, the revelation that the game’s story will be about “greater colonial conflict” and may include magic and the aforementioned single player campaign. February 6 - Users of the gaming message board NeoGAF found a way to download and play a version of Red Dead: Redemption on an XBOX One. The method used to play the game on the latest Microsoft console has been found to be in violation of the terms of service of XBOX live and is only playable offline with no save functionality. So if you really really want to play Red Dead on your XBOX One there’s kind of a way now.
