May 3 - After some information on the next Call of Duty game leaked last week, Activision officially revealed Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare as the next iteration of the game that has come to define AAA shooters.
May 3 - Bethesda announced a release date for Dishonored 2. The game was revealed at E3 last year and will be released on November 11 of this year.
May 4 - Respawn revealed a new Star Wars game being developed at the studio. Few details were announced about the game, about all we know is that it will be a third-person action game of some kind. A full writeup can be found on here on Polygon.
May 6 - Not to be outdone by Activision and their Call of Duty announcement, EA released a trailer for the next Battlefield game. The new game will be set in World War 1 and will be imaginatively titled Battlefield 1.
Infinite Warfare huh? Do you think that anybody at all questioned that title? Or do you think the play on Infinity Ward just set the Activision marketing department all a twitter? So much so that they didn’t realize how tone deaf and potentially depressing that title is?
