June 28 - Blizzard added the much anticipated Competitive Mode to Overwatch. Complaints of toxic and abusive behavior from players began within hours of the addition.
June 29 - In an answer to a question at Sony Corporation’s Investor Day, Andrew House, Sony Interactive Entertainment President, stated that Microsoft’s strategy of cross-play between PC and XBOX One will not affect Sony’s ongoing Playstation strategy. June 30 - Publisher 2K announced a new collection of the Bioshock series of games for PS4, XBOX One and PC. The collection includes: remastered versions of Bioshock, Bioshock 2, and Bioshock: Infinite, as well as most of the DLC released for those games. June 30 - Shenmue and Virtua Fighter creator, Yu Suzuki gave a brief update on the development of the upcoming Shenmue 3. The update came via a video posted to the Shenmue 3 Kickstarter page. According to Mr. Suzuki work on a prototype build of the game is well underway. No news on a release date for the game.
