September 22 - The Daily Beast broke the story that initial Oculus Rift developer Palmer Luckey was contributing money to a political organization dedicated to social media “shit posting” on behalf of the Donald Trump Presidential campaign.
September 23 - Gamespot reported that several VR developers either dropped Oculus support for their games or made donations to the Hillary Clinton Presidential campaign.
September 23 - Blizzard announced that the company will be doing away with the Battle.net name for their gaming services. The company will instead provide the same services under the Blizzard name.
September 24 - In a post on Facebook, which owns Oculus, Palmer Luckey apologized for the negative impact his $10,000 donation to an anti-Hillary Clinton organization has had on the Oculus Brand.
